The Quiet One

Timothy was a quiet boy. Helping his papa make wooden toys. He lived with his parents in a mansion, with a big porch in the front, a garage on the right, a garden with a fountain and so many old trees on the left and a kitchen garden behind the mansion.

Timothy's room was on the left corner on the first floor with windows on 3 sides, opening into the porch, the garden and the kitchen garden.

Timothy used to play by himself, mostly in the garden doing what boys do, and helping his papa out at other times.

It was an especially windy evening when Timothy had heard a football bounce into his garden while he was sitting near the fountain watching the fish swim round and round trying to find a pattern in that randomness.

Soon enough after the football settled bouncing, came a dog running after it and pounced on it with so much excitement, had Timothy not had a pet to himself he would have gotten scared.
